Super Late Birthday Present

↞Niyaz almost falling asleep while trying one of the cars↠

↞The Super Late Birthday Present↠
When Niyaz turned 2 years old on 19 August 2018, we didn't give any present to him as he already has so many toys. Niyaz has a stroller car, gifted by Uncle Telvin and Aunty Hazel during his 1st birthday celebration. However, few days after new year, my husband told me that he kinda feel pity to Niyaz, as he always push the stroller car and the car seems small for his body size now. My husband would like to buy him a electric ride-on car as Niyaz's 2 years old birthday present.

Prior buying the car, I'm actually doing some googling about the car price. The website that I've did the survey was Lazada Malaysia, Shopee Malaysia and few online baby shops. The price is not cheap leh! So I told my hubby, why don't we go to GM Klang Wholesale City. After did some car and price survey, we ended up buying this sporty red car (refer attached photo).

As this blog promise to you the cost-saving way to buy the toddle things, here some tips sharing:

Why buying from physical shop not online?

๐Ÿš—Variety sizes of the car
- The car comes with many sizes. Small, big, high and low. You may want to choose a car that perfectly fit your toddler. My son is 96cm tall and 16kg weight (yes, he quite big for his age). Some of the car may only carry weight up to 20kg. Depends on your opinion, but I prefer to buy a car that my son can use at least for next 5 years.

๐Ÿš—Features of the car
- Different car has different features. Obviously, more expensive car comes with usb and aux ports. Colours of the car also effected the price.

๐Ÿš—Immediate consultation from the sales person
- If you buy online, you will only reading the product description and when you questions about the product, you need to wait for a reply. The sales person who sold the car to use is a great guy. He  is very patient in dealing with us, especially my husband with 1001 questions!

๐Ÿš—Getting physical with the car!
- The sales person let my son try any car that we wanted to try. The first car that my son rode was a bit small for him. So, we try few more cars until we are happy with the red car!

๐Ÿš—Cheaper price
- The price is wayyyyyy cheaper than any online shop that I've conducted the survey. Even cheaper than Lazada. The original price for the car that we bought was RM 800 something, but they are doing promotion and it sells for RM 500. Although it consider a reasonable price in comparing with the car's quality, I still ask for bargain and ended up we bought the car with price of RM 480.

I know not everyone stay nearby GM Klang. But the morals of the story, if you are thinking to buy something that costly for your "continuously-getting-taller-and-heavier-everyday" toddler, my advise is that you may want to do a little googling before you make any purchase. Unless you have tons of money and don't mind spending. If you are like me, who want to save some money to buy make-up for herself, than perhaps you may need to spend extra time doing survey and research.

Have fun shopping!

A Trip to Malaysia Halal Expo 2019

↞Niyaz, Atok & Nenek↠
↞Mommy Bought All These↠

Niyaz, Mommy, Atok (grandpa), Nenek (grandma) and Uncle Ali (mommy's brother-in-law) went to Malaysia Halal Expo 2019 yesterday. It is the first day of the event. We've tested variety of food and drinks, my parents-in-law also got a free health line palm reading and most importantly, Niyaz is well-behaved! ๐Ÿ™Œ

Talking about cooking
I'm not a fans of instead seasoning/marinade mix. I believe fresh ingredients are the best, maybe because I've studied Culinary Arts as we have been taught to cook from scratch and we also learnt about food nutrition as such. But, when the Nis' promoter give us to try Chicken Satay (which cooked with marinade mix) and Chicken Curry, I really in love with both. It tastes creamy and well balance of spices and seasoning. No sure whether the way they cook the food or there are hidden extra ingredients, but the mix powder itself tastes great. I've tried few booths with similar product, but Nis is the best, thus I've grabbed 3 packets of the seasoning mix for food testing. Will share the photo once I've cooked the Chicken Satay across the weekend.

*Nis Seasoning Mix - RM3.00 per packet (based on expo's promotional price)

Talking about tea
I'm a huge lover of tea. I don't prefer coffee as my body will get funny feelings every time after I drink coffee. My all-time fave tea is Ahmad Tea - Black English Tea No. 1. I can drink cups of the tea in a day! I also love the Lemongrass Tea at HerbaLine Beauty Spa. One of the main reason why I keep coming back to the spa!๐Ÿ˜ So, I've tried the Caroma's Ginger Tea at the Expo and quickly I can say it my next fave tea! It has strong taste of ginger and not sweet. They used coconut sugar and brown sugar with the tea. But as I'm a type of person who drink sugarless tea, I can say that the ginger tea has perfect taste. I can feel my body is burning after I drink the tea which I really like it the most.

*Caroma Bentong Ginger Tea - RM16.00 per box (based on expo's promotional price)

Talking about the Malaysia Halal Expo 2019
It is a free admission event from 24 January - 26 January 2019 at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. You can learn more about the expo via Malaysia Halal Expo 2019

Love to share your opinion about seasoning mix and tea? Feel free to comment in the box.

Meow Meow The Bolster

↞Niyaz & Meow Meow↠

↞Niyaz & Meow Meow↠
23 December 2018

Here two photos of Niyaz and his meow meow.
Yes, he is sleeping with THAT position sometimes.
I wash the bolster every week but the color is getting rusty. Niyaz will bite, wipe and hug Meow Meow every now and then. We've tried to separate him with Meow Meow. No success story yet until today. He is very in love with Meow Meow more than he loves daddy but less than he loves Mommy ๐Ÿ˜‚

Do your child have blankie too? If yes, love to hear your story too.

Say "Hola" First!

Mommy & Niyaz
Hola Readers,

Created this blog to share the life as mommy to my son, Niyaz.
(p/s: will edit this if I'm carrying another child someday)

A little background of the Mommy
➽ I am Deena. Mama gave birth to me on 29 December 1986 and we're living in Malaysia.

A little background of the Baby
➽ His name is Niyaz. Mommy gave birth to Niyaz via c-section on 19 August 2016,  weighted 4.18 kg. A big healthy baby boy with super loud cry!

Why Meow Meow?
➽ Niyaz has a blankie, but not a blanket. It is baby bolster with a picture of kitten on it. Me and hubby bought it during pregnancy. We only realize Niyaz very attach to the bolster when he about 1 year old age. Since he can't understand what is bolster, I use a nickname, Meow Meow, to refer the bolster. He can't sleep without Meow Meow. Plus, Meow Meow smells like cheese! ๐Ÿ˜ท

Lastly, I hope you enjoy reading our little blog!

Love,
๐ŸŽ•Deena
